- Contact details — name, address, email address, phone number
- Information needed to quote or service a policy — date of birth, driver's license number, vehicle and property details, prior coverage and claims history, and for commercial policies, business and payroll information
- Payment information, when you pay a premium through us or through a carrier
- Anything you choose to tell us in a form, email, text message or phone call
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, and the site you arrived from
- Information stored through cookies and similar technologies
How we use it
- Preparing quotes and placing coverage with insurance carriers
- Servicing your policies — changes, renewals, billing questions, claims support
- Responding to enquiries you send us
- Sending service messages and, where you have agreed, marketing communications
- Improving the website and understanding how it is used
- Meeting our legal, regulatory and licensing obligations as a licensed insurance agency
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to do our job or where the law requires it:
- Insurance carriers and wholesalers — to obtain quotes, bind coverage and service policies. This is the core of what an independent agency does, and it cannot be avoided if you want a quote.
- Service providers — the agency management system, comparative rating tools, the client portal, email and website hosting. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
- Consumer reporting agencies — carriers order motor vehicle records, loss history reports and insurance scores as part of underwriting.
- Legal and regulatory — where required by law, subpoena, regulator or in connection with a claim or dispute.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site working properly and to understand general usage patterns. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information in our care, and we limit access to staff who need it to do their work. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you need to send us a sensitive document, call the office and we will tell you the safest way to get it to us.

- Ask us to delete information we are not required to retain
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by calling the office
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message — see our text message terms
Some information has to be retained even after you ask us to delete it, because insurance records are subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
